Keynsham Wombles wrap up 2023

In addition to the Keynsham Wombles looking after their own areas, they’ve had several group Big Wombles Litter Picks and have cleared huge piles of rubbish every time.

An annual highlight was their litter picking at the week-long Keynsham Music Festival. Many volunteers covered different shifts, and they had a recycling area where they could sort litter so it didn’t all end up in landfill.

They also helped keep the High Street clean during the Keynsham Winter Festival which takes place at the end of November.

The Keynsham Wombles are continuing their excellent work by helping in local junior schools to get groups of children litter picking, particularly as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
