Welcome to our community!
The Wombles' Community Charity harnesses the unique appeal and powerful message of The Wombles to encourage positive environmental action in local communities and schools across the UK.
Championing sustainability, love of nature and the importance of community.
We want to encourage everyone in the UK to take a more active role in the conservation, protection and improvement of their local environment.
We do this by supporting the activities of community groups across the UK and by providing free learning resources for children.
Our aims
Community Initiatives
- Provide support, advice and promotional materials to local groups. This support may include kit on an ad hoc basis.
- Liaise with local councils to secure funding for grassroot initiatives.
- Unify communities across the country so that all participants have the resources to reach their environmental goals.
Environmental Education
- Provide free educational content exploring environmental topics in line with the current curriculum.
- Donate educational products to schools across the nation.
- Create and support national educational campaigns.

We want to inspire and empower everyone, from every generation, to act like Wombles and do their bit to improve the quality of their local environment. From cleaning up your local park or waterways, planting trees, shrubs and wildflowers to encourage wildlife, or committing to shopping more sustainably, we support all ways to Womble.
