Supporting Local Community Action

Throughout the UK, hundreds of Wombles groups have been doing amazing work in their local communities.

Inspired by the positive example and message of The Wombles, they have gone out in all weathers to collect litter, plant wildflowers, tidy wasteland, clean-up rivers and canals and a host of other community activities.

Official Wombles Group.

We aim to mobilise the collective power of all of the Official Wombles Community Groups as a national movement for positive environmental action. We are planning a series of national campaigns in which Wombles groups can get involved.

The Wombles Community Charity awards official status to local groups who have agreed to our code of conduct, which is focused on the safety of all group participants. Receiving official status gives these groups conditional permission to use the Official Wombles Group logo, plus official images that we supply. Our official groups will become part of our network, which entitles those approved with access to support and competition draws!
